The Acid-Base Balance in Lake Water
1980 (English)Report (Other academic)
Abstract [sv]

As expected, the acid - base content of lake water is composed of strong base or acid, weak acids (mainly fulvic acid) and carbonic acid. All of these may be determinred by using a simple titration method. The concentration of undissociated carbonic acid sometimes appears not to be in equilibrium with the CO2-concentration in air. Observed supersaturation seems to be connected to the concentration of fulvic acid
