This report covers the subject: 'Methods and Possibilities for Application of Life Cycle Assessment in Strategic Environmental Assessment of Transport Infrastructures' and is written as a part and contribution to a European Union project - Building Environmental Assessment CONsensus on the transeuropean transport network (BEACON). BEACON is an EU network of excellence and IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute has been a so called 'member' of this network. This report is written by IVL and based on experience from several infrastructure projects in the LCA area. It includes LCA results for the infrastructures of roads, railroads and air transports.
