Multi-stakeholder dialogue on green urban climate adaptation
IVL Swedish Environmental Research Institute.
2013 (English)Report (Other academic)
Abstract [sv]

This report is part of the project GreenClimeAdapt – Green Tools for Urban Climate Adaptation. The project is running 2009- 2013 in Malmö, Sweden, and is co-financed by the European Union LIFE+. The objectives of GreenClimeAdapt are to demonstrate climate adaptation in urban areas using open green storm water systems with increased biodiversity and recreation value, green facades and green roofs. The project and its full-scale demonstrations have been implemented in the City of Malmö, Sweden. As the rest of Northern Europe, in recent years, Malmö has experienced problems with increased precipitation and local flooding, which has already caused significant material losses and remediation costs.
