Abstract [en]

The emission of hazardous substances occurs from the cradle to grave of products and services. Calculating a chemical footprint can help companies prioritize actions to reduce the potential impacts.

This report is the result of a search for available tools for calculating chemical footprints and our attempt to identify regulatory drivers for such assessments. While tools and policy drivers for chemical footprints are available, there is still a need for development.
