This report is part of the Nordic Sustainable Construction project, which falls under the Nordic Sustainable Construction program launched by the Nordic Ministers for Construction and Housing and funded by Nordic Innovation.
Here we present findings from an analysis of carbon stocks and carbon sinks of individual trees of different species within urban areas in Göteborg, Umeå and Malmö. The estimates are for total tree biomass, including below ground biomass. The original data were collected through the “i-Tree Sweden” project and are sampled during the year 2018. Values for tree growth and tree carbon sinks were calculated using the software application “i-Tree Eco v6”.
