2026 (English)Report (Other academic)
Abstract [en]

The report analyses market structure, trade flows, and business conditions, based on statistical data and company interviews. Both sectors are dominated by micro and small enterprises, which face challenges in managing increasing regulatory requirements, especially related to product data and compliance. The findings highlight strong industry support for the policy direction, but also significant uncertainty, resource constraints, and concerns about fair competition, particularly from direct e-commerce imports. Overall, successful implementation will depend on clear, proportionate regulation and effective support and enforcement mechanisms.
